Barcode Labels

The Barcode Labels system generates product barcodes (EAN codes) for handtags and polybags. Each size variant gets a unique barcode for retail scanning.

Where to Find It

Location: Production Order Detail → Barcodes & Labels tab The page has two tabs:
  • Size Breakdown — Quantity per size
  • Barcodes & Labels — Barcode generation and printing

Barcode Labels Table

Product Code Format

Product codes follow the pattern: STYLE-VARIANT-SIZE Example: BGG27870-105-14
  • BGG27870 — Style reference
  • 105 — Variant/color code
  • 14 — Size

EAN Code Format

EAN codes are 13-digit barcodes used for retail scanning. Example: 5045773098194
EAN codes are auto-generated by the system based on the product code. Each size gets a unique EAN.

Status Meanings

Printing Barcode Labels

Go to Barcodes & Labels tab

Production Order → Barcodes & Labels

Find the size row

Locate the size you need labels for

Click print icon (×1)

First print icon prints one label

Print dialog opens

Send to label printer

Find the size row

In Barcodes & Labels tab

Click print icon with quantity

Second print icon (shows quantity number)

Prints full quantity

All labels for that size print
Example: Size 10 with QTY 13 → Click print ×13 → Prints 13 labels

Click Actions dropdown

Top right of Barcode Labels section

Select Print All

Prints labels for all sizes

Review print preview

Check total label count

Label Contents

Each printed barcode label typically includes:

Common Scenarios

Troubleshooting

Cause: Barcodes not yet generated for this order.Solution: Wait for system to generate, or contact admin if stuck.
Cause: Product code not mapped to EAN.Solution: Contact admin to set up EAN mapping for this product.
Cause: Printer not connected or browser blocking popup.Solution:
  1. Check printer connection
  2. Allow popups for this site
  3. Try Download instead of Print
Cause: Size breakdown doesn’t match.Solution: Check Size Breakdown tab — quantities come from there.
Cause: EAN not registered or print quality issue.Solution:
  1. Verify EAN is correct
  2. Reprint with higher quality settings
  3. Contact admin if EAN needs updating
